DATSAN's in-house transformer test laboratory is accredited by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) to TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 under accreditation number AB-1815-T, valid until 14 May 2027.
Accreditation matters because of what it removes: the need to take the manufacturer's word for it. TÜRKAK has independently assessed the laboratory's test methods, equipment calibration chain and personnel competence. And because TÜRKAK is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement and the European co-operation for Accreditation Multilateral Agreement, test reports issued under this accreditation are recognised by utilities and inspection bodies internationally — not only in Türkiye.

Customers are welcome to witness Factory Acceptance Tests in this laboratory. Tests outside the accredited scope — including short-circuit withstand and lightning impulse — are carried out at independent external laboratories and documented separately.
